John is a Partner and Co-Founder of Fairview Search Group, LLC. He has over 15 years of experience in the Executive Recruiting Industry specializing in Accounting and Finance placement. Prior to Fairview Search Group, LLC, John was an owner of a boutique executive search firm in Charlotte and a Vice President for a national search firm specializing in Accounting and Finance placement. He was a consistent top producer earning President’s Club honors throughout his tenure with the firm.
John is a native of Boston, MA and a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a degree in Finance. He is married with three children and resides in South Charlotte. When not helping lead Fairview Search Group, LLC, John enjoys spending time with his family, helping coach his children’s youth sports teams and performing community service activities.

Syd is a Partner and Co-Founder of Fairview Search Group, LLC. Syd began his recruiting career in 2000 and is a CPA with eight years of experience in accounting as an Audit Manager and Assistant Corporate Controller. Syd specializes in accounting and finance searches in disciplines such as corporate accounting, financial reporting, corporate financial planning and analysis, tax, internal audit, and financial systems. Syd’s client base consists of companies large and small in manufacturing/distribution, energy, healthcare, retail, financial services, and real estate.
Syd is originally from Greensboro and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is married with two daughters and lives in Ballantyne. When not on the hunt for the perfect candidate for Fairview Search Group, LLC, Syd enjoys spending time with his family, as well as working out, running, triathlons, golf, travel, and community service.
